Cincinnati named a top 10 world destination on NYT's annual travel list.

There are thousands of places The New York Times could have suggested its readers visit in 2018 on its list of 52 top destinations. Some of the ones that made the cut are obvious (New Orleans, The Caribbean, Australia), but sitting pretty at #8 was the Queen City. One of the top-cited reasons to come on down were the newly renovated Music Hall, Ensemble Theater and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, as well Over-The-Rhine’s beloved breweries and farm-to-table restaurants.
So whether it’s the crispy pig ears appetizer at Salazar, mouth-watering gourmet fried chicken at The Eagle, a pint of Truth from Rhinegeist Brewery, or the timeless tradition of the Cincinnati Ballet’s holiday classic The Nutcracker, we couldn’t agree more that the Cincinnati region should be at the top of your travel list this year.
